Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support our nationwide distribution network. You will inspect tractors, verify bills of lading, safely operate the vehicle to customer sites, and maintain accurate logs and delivery records.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Verify bill of lading and keys for accuracy during off-hours deliveries.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Unload products at customer premises and complete delivery paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
