Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to transport goods to customers across assigned routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, verify loads, and safely operate a tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver product at customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
