Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring entry level CDL-A drivers in El Paso, Texas for dry van freight, mainly east of I-35. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates of truck driving school who possess a Class A CDL.

You'll receive hands-on training with an experienced instructor for 4 to 6 weeks, earning $650 weekly during the training phase. After training, drivers can expect to earn between $1,400 to $1,800 weekly and receive benefits such as medical coverage, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Run a Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Haul dry van freight mainly east of I-35.
• Maintain on-time delivery.
• Keep current on ELD logs and trip paperwork.
• Inspect equipment before and after every shift.
