Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking CDL-A entry level drivers for paid road training in Indiana. Trainees earn $850 per week during training, then transition to an Eastern dry van operation with earnings ranging from $1,000 to $1,700 weekly after training.

Expect routes starting in Indiana and Illinois toward the Southeast, with home time every two weeks and no NYC freight. Training lasts 3–5 weeks with 200–250 behind-the-wheel hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 120 hours from an accredited truck driving school.
• Trainees with less than 6 months of recent CDL-A experience are welcome.
• Solid employment history with no major unemployment gaps.
• Acceptable MVR and driving record.
• Pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug test.
• Meet applicable driver qualification and hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle dry van freight with drop-and-hook, live loading, live unloading and preloaded trailers.
• May drive day and night; weekend work based on operations.
