Job summary

Messer is looking for a Location Manager to lead transport operations in Blytheville, AR. You will champion safety programs, supervise drivers and office staff, manage SAP workflows, and drive cost control and continuous improvement across the location.

In this role you’ll coordinate with regional teams, enforce regulatory compliance, and mentor staff toward high performance while maintaining steady, customer-focused service delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and Hazmat regulations.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance programs.
• Highly organized and process driven.
• Strong computer literacy and software skills.
• Familiarity with Messer distribution systems (SAP, Gold, Motive, Samsara, NeXIS).
• Good communication skills and coaching ability.
• High school diploma and leadership experience; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program implementation at the local level.
• Investigate incidents and address root causes with HSEQ.
• Recruit and train drivers; ensure daily scheduling needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in location operations and people.
• Coordinate with National Operations Center on daily transport.
• Manage SAP processes and location administration tasks.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, payroll, and procurement.
• Ensure after-hours coverage to meet customer demand.
