Job summary

Messer is seeking a Location Manager for our Blytheville, AR operation to lead transportation and site administration. You will supervise drivers, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, compliance, and cost control across daily logistics activities.

Ideal candidates bring DOT/OSHA/Hazmat knowledge, strong organizational and coaching skills, and experience with distribution systems (SAP, Gold, Motive, Samsara, NeXIS). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and Hazmat regulations.
• Experience with maintenance planning or preventive maintenance programs.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with distribution systems (SAP, etc.).
• Proven coaching and leadership skills with drivers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations and address root causes with HSEQ.
• Recruit and train drivers to meet daily schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in location management and processes.
• Oversee transportation operations, budgeting, and payroll.
• Manage SAP processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure after-hours coverage to meet customer demands.
