Job summary

SA Recycling LLC in Texas is seeking personnel for yard operations of loading/unloading trucks and handling scrap metal. Responsibilities include inspecting metal grades for inventory, and performing daily DOT safety inspections.

The role requires effective communication with office staff and customers to determine commodities, and maintaining a clean, safe yard environment. CDL A preferred, bilingual skills beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively; understand directions; use basic math.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Work independently when driving scrap metal.
• Assist customers to satisfy needs and resolve problems.
• Maintain safe, clean work area in yard.
