SA Recycling LLC is seeking a Scrap Yard Operator to load and unload trucks, inspect metal grades for inventory, and perform daily DOT operations with safety audits. You will communicate with the office and customers to determine loads and work independently while operating scrap-metal vehicles and equipment.

The role requires maintaining a clean, safe yard, assisting with equipment checks, and promoting a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and use basic math.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Operate independently when driving scrap metal.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and perform light maintenance.
