Job summary

Aviagen Inc is seeking highly experienced drivers to operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and compliant manner. Responsibilities include DOT compliance, pre-trip inspections, load securement, and thorough documentation.

The role requires 3–5+ years driving experience, a valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of verifiable driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Lifting up to 75 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of driving experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to read and write legibly
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather
• Lift up to 75 lbs

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations
• Perform and document pre-trip inspection
• Assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary
• Ensure secure load before movement
• Maintain proper documentation (equipment, time, trips, weight)
• Clean and wash truck as necessary
• Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor
• Comply with all DOT safety rules and company policies
• All other duties as assigned
