Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a CDL A Driver in Richmond, VA to transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely, performing pre-trip inspections and maintaining logs.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and a minimum of 2 years of DOT-regulated driving experience, with strong safety and customer service skills. On-site duties include equipment moves, repairs, and daily housekeeping of vehicles and sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Must pass background and driving record checks.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Load/unload units and fuel vehicles.
• Provide on-site moves and pickups/deliveries.
• Maintain professional customer contact with Dispatcher.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
