Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a CDL A Driver in Texas. You will deliver and relocate equipment to customer sites, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs while upholding excellent customer service and safety standards.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, 2+ years of DOT-regulated driving, and the ability to work independently in varying conditions. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Diligent attention to safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to operate and communicate using DOT logs and HOS records.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pickups/deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units; fuel vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping of vehicles and facilities.
• Interact with customers and recommend additional services.
