Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team. You will transport equipment to customer locations, perform safety inspections, and maintain accurate DOT records while keeping an emphasis on professional customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, on-site moves, and regular communication with Dispatch to ensure timely deliveries in varying weather and job sites. We value safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• A valid Class A CDL driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Tank endorsement is required.
• Ability to use technology to maintain DOT records (Record of Service & HOS).

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Coordinate onsite moves of equipment and pickups/deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units and refuel vehicles as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer interaction and communication with Dispatch.
