The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL, has experience with GPS/AVL systems, and demonstrates safe driving habits, adherence to regulations, and the ability to handle route planning and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver.
• Valid CDL license and knowledge of trucking regulations.
• Ability to use GPS, AVL systems, CB radio.
• Willing to pass background and drug checks.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Safety-conscious with route planning and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with CDL rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
