Job summary

OrePac is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for local, home-daily routes with no weekend work. The role offers OT after 40 hours and a $400 monthly safe driving incentive, with trucks including 2020+ Freightliners Daycab.

You will drive various trailers to deliver building products, tie down cargo, and assist with unloading as needed. Expect 60 hours per week with potential overnight trips; some routes may require snow chaining and forklift duties after training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years verifiable flatbed experience preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to drive local routes and handle cargo safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer, curtain van, or flatbed to deliver building products locally.

CDL A Truck Driver | $26 - $28/hr | $400 Monthly Bonus

Home Daily, NO weekends.

• 60 Hours Per Week
• OT after 40 Hours
• $400/month safe driving incentive.
• 2020 and Newer Freightliners Daycab
• Drive a tractor and trailer, curtain van, or flatbed to deliver building products to customers throughout the local area.
• Tie down cargo safely and correctly for transportation.
• Make multiple customer stops and occasionally assist and observe customers in unloading items by hand or with a forklift.
• Some routes may require driving in snow, and chaining up, depending on the time of year and weather.
• Some routes may require overnight runs during the week; company paid meals and lodging will be provided for overnight runs.
• Forklift duties may be assigned to this position. Any assigned forklift duties will first require taking and passing a forklift training course and obtaining a certificate. Forklift duties will include staging and/or stacking material neatly and safely, operating the forklift in a safe manner, filling the forklift with propane fuel, and regularly checking the forklift fluid levels.
