Job summary

CVS Health Transportation is seeking dependable CDL-A Drivers to operate a tractor-trailer and/or straight truck to deliver merchandise to CVS stores and return empty totes to the distribution center. Drivers can enjoy home weekends or most nights, with weekends off, and a stable schedule with excellent benefits.

The role requires DOT compliance, safe driving, and professional communication, with a focus on timely deliveries and safety in CVS Health’s distribution network.

Qualifications

• Meet all DOT qualifications per FMCSR 391.11.
• Minimum 12 months full-time Class A driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Zero preventable CMV accidents in the past 4 years.
• Two or fewer motor vehicle violations in the past 3 years.
• No convictions involving impaired driving (alcohol/drugs) in the past 5 years.
• No reckless or careless driving convictions within the past 5 years.
• No preventable CMV accidents resulting in fatality or catastrophic injury.
• No criminal convictions involving a CMV (FMCSR 383.51 & 391.15).
• Must meet CVS Loss Prevention and HR minimum driver standards.
• One year of retail multi-stop delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer and/or straight truck to deliver merchandise to stores.
• Pick up and return merchandise and empty totes from stores to the distribution center.
• Complete multi-stop retail deliveries accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required.
• Inspect equipment before and after routes; report any maintenance concerns.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel and Transportation leadership.
• Ensure freight security, proper handling, and safe delivery procedures.
