Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a professional driver to operate a tractor-trailer and/or straight truck, delivering merchandise to CVS stores and handling pickups and returns to the distribution center.

Shifts include day, evening, and overnight with inner-city routes in Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA. You’ll be home daily on a 5-day work week, with a starting pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Meet FMCSR 391.11 driver qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving experience.
• No preventable accidents in the last 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to CVS stores in a timely and safe manner.

Position Summary

Required Qualifications

• Meet all Department of Transportation requirements concerning driver qualifications (FMCSR 391.11)
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience (Preference given to experienced store-side delivery drivers or inner-city drivers)
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last four (4) years
• Two or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than parking) within the past three (3) years
• No conviction of any offense involving impaired driving within the last five (5) years
• No conviction of careless or reckless driving within the past five (5) years
• No preventable accidents that ever resulted in a fatality or catastrophic injury
• No conviction of a criminal offense involving a commercial vehicle (FMCSR Sec. 383.51 and 391.15)
• CVS Transportation L.L.C. will not consider any driver applicant who does not meet the minimum requirements as specified by CVS Health’s Loss Prevention or Human Resources Departments.

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is

$18.50 - $38.82

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
