Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver in the Houston area to deliver and unload food products to customers. You will be the face of the company, ensuring on-time delivery and professional customer interactions.

The role requires valid CDL-A, at least 6 months of driving experience, and the ability to meet DOT regulations. Benefits start Day 1, with opportunities for growth and a stable, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A; must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR in past 3 years; drug test and background checks.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 10-90 lb; physical labor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer as per DOT.
• Drive and deliver orders to customers per route schedule.
• Unload products and obtain signatures; collect payments where required.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs; complete daily hours of service.
• Keep equipment and loading docks clean and organized.
• Complete required safety and DOT compliance tasks.
