Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring CDL-A drivers to deliver food and related products to customers nationwide, with a 4–5 day work week and Mon-Sat availability. Competitive pay and benefits start Day 1, including health, 401(k) matching, and education assistance.

The driver role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and positive customer interactions. Candidates must meet all licensing, MVR, and drug-test requirements and be capable of lifting up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required.
• 1 Year Commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meets PFG MVR requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer loading, verify freight against invoices, and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure security of tractor, trailer and freight; unload damaged goods and returns; manage end-of-shift paperwork.
• Uphold safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.
