Job summary

Pro-Transport-LLC is seeking a Class A CDL driver to ensure professional and timely delivery of company and third-party products. This role requires excellent communication and the ability to build customer relationships while meeting all regulatory requirements.

Key duties include DOT compliance, pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading, securing loads, and maintaining vehicles. You will report incidents, follow schedules, handle occasional overnight runs, and be home most nights with no weekend

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with Hazardous and Tanker Endorsements.
• Must have a current medical card and comply with random drug testing.
• Must have a good driving record and be insured.
• Forklift skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Collaborative and proactive work style.
• Familiarity with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Some mechanical skills are required.
• Excellent attendance record is required.

Responsibilities

• Follows all DOT regulations and guidelines, including placarding and logbooks.
• Reports all moving violations, citations, and accidents promptly.
• Loads and unloads deliveries safely; verifies Bill of Lading matches orders.
• Wears required safety equipment and follows injury prevention measures.
• Performs pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Coordinates with Logistics Planner or Plant Manager to receive delivery schedules.
• May pick up empty containers and complete necessary paperwork.
• Checks with customers for product issues or additional assistance.
• Aids Continuous Improvement in production processes.
• Occasionally works evenings and weekends to ensure duties are completed.
• Overnight travel may be required with 6–10 overnight runs.
• Completes small maintenance projects during non-driving periods.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
