Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver equipment to customers and return home each night. You will play a key role as a company ambassador, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include drop-offs/pickups, operating large equipment, maintaining logs, and proactively identifying customer needs while upholding United Rentals’ safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service and safety focus.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment including semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-A).
• Adhere to FMCSR safety regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
