United Rentals in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers, ensuring safety and timely service. You will interact with customers as a company ambassador and be home every night.

Responsibilities include driving semi-trucks/trailers, maintaining logs, and performing pre-trip inspections per DOT rules, while promoting additional equipment sales and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service and teamwork, with strong communication skills.
• Diligent safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Operate equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers per CDL-A classifications.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and safety policies.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
