Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers and represent the company with safety and courtesy. You will be home every night and help customers with equipment needs while supporting the company’s growth.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and exceptional service as you handle equipment, logs, and inspections and interact with customers on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
