Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Phoenix, AZ. You will deliver equipment safely and on time, interact with customers, and be a company ambassador, with home-to-home routes and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A, a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of DOT-regulated driving, and a commitment to safety. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated customer service and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs on a regular basis.
• Diligent attention to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Operate construction equipment in compliance with DOT classifications.
• Adhere to safety rules and federal regulations for equipment operations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
