Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers from our location in Vermont. You’ll be home every night while ensuring safe, timely, and courteous service. This role is ideal for a team player focused on high-quality customer care and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, pre-trip inspections, logs, and recommending equipment to customers. Must have 2+ years of DOT driving experience and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers consistent with CDL-A.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
