Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers. You will be the company ambassador, providing safe, timely, and courteous service and maintaining compliant driver logs.

You will be home every night, with opportunities to advance within the world’s largest equipment rental provider. Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up gear, operating construction equipment per DOT rules, and maintaining safety at all times.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and clean driving record required.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Operate construction equipment and trucks in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Identify opportunities to suggest additional equipment or supplies to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
