Job summary

Strange Trip Inc., a FedEx Ground linehaul contractor based in Lewiston, ME, is seeking a part-time CDL-A driver for overnight linehaul runs to Middletown, CT. You will be responsible for safe, on-time deliveries with sleeper option available and a flexible, seven-days-a-week scheduling approach.

We offer PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, and an IRA retirement plan, with a $300 flat rate per trip and weekly direct deposit for drivers based in or near Lewiston, ME.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with a minimum of 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Based in or near Lewiston, ME and available for overnight runs.
• Doubles endorsement required - or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate round-trip linehaul from Lewiston, ME to Middletown, CT.
• Maintain on-time delivery and safe driving practices.
• Sleeper unit usage as needed between shifts.

What We Offer

• PM linehaul position starting around 8pm out of Lewiston, ME
• Sleeper available for drivers who prefer to stay in the truck between shifts.
• Home daily: Round-trip run between Lewiston, ME and Middletown, CT - back after every shift
• Part-time / on-call scheduling: We run 7 days a week - call us and we'll build a schedule that works for you
• Equipment: Kenworth, Mack, or Volvo trucks with automatic transmissions
