Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A or B part-time/on-call drivers to support our growing team. This is a great fit for Uber, Lyft, or other gig workers who want additional income while maintaining a flexible schedule.

When called in to work, you'll run a dedicated local route departing around 4:00 – 5:00 AM from Piscataway, NJ. You'll receive regular route pay of $225 – $315 per day for each route you cover, depending on the lane.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B/C license required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Clean MVR and no criminal background required for eligibility.
• Prior truck-driving experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be flexible to cover shifts and maintain availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate dedicated local routes departing early from Piscataway, NJ.
• Deliver/collect and manage touch freight including loading and unloading.
• Be available 7 days per week to qualify for the on-call pay.

W2 Company Driver – Part-Time / On-Call Position

This is a flexible, part-time/on-call role with no guaranteed weekly hours.

Drivers who maintain availability 7 days per week, Monday through Sunday, will receive $75 per week for remaining on call and available to cover routes as needed.

Additional and more consistent work opportunities may be available September through December during peak season, including multiple open shifts.

This position is ideal for drivers seeking supplemental income, gig workers, or anyone looking for a flexible driving schedule with opportunities to pick up additional work.

Equipment

New diesel and electric box trucks.

Maintained under a strict and consistent preventative maintenance program – we operate only safe, clean, and well-maintained vehicles.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license (hazmat endorsement required if Class C)
