Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, a CCS division, seeks a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport hazmat or other materials from job sites to disposal locations. The role involves hands-on work with the field team and operating vacuum trucks across multiple job sites.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement; Hazmat preferred; 2–3 years’ experience with DOT regulated vehicles; ability to work with field crews and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to be covered under company insurance policy.
• High school Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years’ experience driving DOT regulated vehicles.
• Experience driving Hazmat materials strongly preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work side-by-side with field teams when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum truck and move/reposition vacuum hoses as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles per laws and policies.
• Drive in accordance with safety policies and all regulations.
• Complete DOT pre- and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Operate box van with lift gate to pick up or deliver drums.
• Follow dispatch/supervisor instructions daily.
• Load/unload and set up vacuum hoses at jobsites.
• Report accidents and injuries with forms as needed.
• Ensure loads are secured and drive safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
