Overview

Job Description: R10093417 CDL A Driver Hazmat (Open). Location: Huger (Berkeley), SC (AMG) - Bulk cryo logistics.

Responsibilities

• Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites, usually long distances, in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs and address as required.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to the supervisor and include service interruptions immediately.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and Airgas company policy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
• Complete required DOT and company reports.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ years of experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years technical college or military technical experience
• Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience (preferred)
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases (preferred)
