We are hiring an experienced Vehicle Operator to support autonomous vehicle testing and commercial operations in Dallas. This role combines professional CDL Class A driving with hands-on autonomous vehicle testing, vehicle inspections, and travel to support testing missions and operational needs.

This position is ideal for a CDL Class A driver with a strong safety record, flexibility for changing schedules, extended trips, and a keen interest in autonomous vehicle technology.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
• 3+ years of commercial driving experience on combination vehicles.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience using an electronic logging device (ELD).
• Strong understanding of DOT safety requirements.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with operations and engineering teams.
• Comfortable with late-night and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.
• Interest in autonomous vehicle technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles.
• Operate passenger vehicles as needed.
• Operate autonomous vehicles on roads and test tracks.
• Provide feedback on system behavior and capabilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate ELD records.
• Assist with software and vehicle testing at test tracks.
• Support testing and commercial delivery missions.
• Contribute to a safety-first culture.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams.
