Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support intrastate and interstate deliveries, including overnight routes. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver food products on time, maintain safety standards, and interact professionally with customers.

The role begins early at 3AM–5AM with Monday-Saturday schedules. Benefits include health, 401K matching, education assistance, PTO, and stock purchase options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspects trailer for proper load and security; reports issues.
• Reviews paperwork and customer invoices for accuracy.
• Delivers orders to customers on schedule; unloads and stores items.
• Obtains customer signatures and processes payments where required.
• Secures equipment and completes required paperwork at shift end.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
