Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to support America’s food distribution system. The role involves operating tractor-trailer or straight truck on local, intrastate, and over-the-road routes to deliver food products on time and in good condition.

Responsibilities include performing safety inspections, complying with DOT and company policies, securing freight, and interacting professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet MVR requirements and pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspect tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Unload and secure freight; complete required paperwork.
• Maintain daily logs and hours of service in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
