Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support our food distribution operations. The role features a 4-day route schedule with weekends off, including 3 days on the road and 1 day local, delivering food and related products to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Foodservice distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with onboard computer and electronic logs (PeopleNet).
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks and inspect tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect and load trailer, verify freight, and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure tractor/trailer and freight are secured; unload damaged goods as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and comply with hours of service requirements.
• Uphold safety standards and handle freight properly throughout delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
