Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a CDL A Driver in Hayward, CA. You will drive and move portable restrooms and related equipment to customer sites, perform inspections, and maintain logs with a strong safety focus.

The role requires 2+ years of DOT driving, a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement, and excellent customer service skills. Weekend work may be needed; competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Tank Endorsement is required.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment directly to customer locations on time and in a safe and courteous manner.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and delivery/pick-up as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles as needed.
• Interact with customers and identify additional service opportunities.
