Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a CDL A Driver to transport equipment to customer locations and perform onsite services with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and assisting with on-site moves of portable toilets and related equipment. A tanker endorsement and a valid Class A license are required, with opportunities for growth within a safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• A valid Class A CDL driver's license with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Must have Tanker Endorsement and a strong safety mindset.
• Ability to mount/dismount trucks and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and in a safe and courteous manner.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units; fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintain safety and professional customer contact; follow all safety guidelines.
