Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Driver, CDL A to operate and transport equipment to customer sites, maintain safety standards, and assist with onsite services. This role emphasizes reliable daily routing, thorough inspections, and professional customer communication.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, 2+ years DOT driving experience, and the ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 45 lbs. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with safe driving record.
• Tank Endorsement required.
• Ability to use technology to log DOT records (Record of Service & HOS).
• Able to mount/dismount trucks multiple times daily.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time, safely and courteously.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as needed.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units; fuel vehicles as necessary.
• Interact with customers and recommend additional services or supplies.
