Job summary

United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider seeking a dependable CDL A Driver in Hayward, CA. You will drive, inspect, and move equipment to customer sites, ensuring safety and timely service.

Responsibilities include on-site repairs, pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining DOT-compliant records. A high level of customer interaction and teamwork is required, with some weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Strong safety awareness and clean driving record.
• Ability to use technology to maintain DOT records.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units on site as needed.
• Provide onsite moves and pickups/deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log hours.
• Maintain truck logs and HOS for DOT compliance.
• Interact with customers to recommend services.
