Job summary

Ambipar is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for our Commerce City, CO operation. You will transport equipment, roll-off boxes, and waste materials, adhering to DOT regulations and safety procedures. The role includes operating vacuum trucks, loading/offloading cargo, and maintaining logs with electronic devices.

Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and be able to pass a DOT/Hazmat physical. Travel up to 40% may be required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical.
• Experience in truck driving or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer or straight truck per DOT rules and company policies.
• Use vacuum trucks to safely handle liquids, sludge, and solids; prevent spills.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers within weight limits.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste per regulations.
• Record hours using electronic logging devices (eLogs) accurately.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch promptly.
• Follow routes and delivery schedules; use GPS for timely deliveries.
• Assist crew and maintain a safe work environment.
