The position is on-site in Jacksonville, FL, full-time with up to 40% travel. Candidates should have a clean driving record and be able to pass DOT and Hazmat physicals. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must pass a DOT and Hazmat medical exam.
• Experience in truck driving or equipment transport preferred.
• Physically able to load/unload materials over 100 lbs.
• PPE use required when necessary.
• Solid knowledge of road rules and regulations.
• Strong work ethic and safety focus.
• Ability to travel within an assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck per DOT and company policies.
• Use vacuum trucks to transport waste safely without spills.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials per regulations.
• Use electronic logs to track hours and compliance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report issues to dispatch promptly.
• Securely load/unload cargo with liftgates or pallet jacks as needed.
• Follow routes and schedules using GPS.
