Job summary

18 Wheels USA is hiring solo CDL-A drivers for a dedicated account based in Haslet, Texas. Drivers run a mix of local and overnight store deliveries. Most routes get drivers home daily or every other day, depending on the schedule. Pay is about $1,400 weekly on a mileage basis.

The route covers TX, OK, NM, KS, MO, LA, AR, TN and MS. Equipment includes tandem-axle sleeper trucks with 53-foot trailers. A valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months of recent over-the-road experience, pallet jack use, and

• Must have 3 months of experience driving on the road in the past 12 months or significant on-road time within the last 10 years.
• Able to use a hand pallet jack and verify freight at each stop.
• Ability to meet DOT and company hiring standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver store orders on dedicated routes with local and overnight legs.
• Unload and verify freight at each stop using a pallet jack.

Drivers run a mix of local and overnight store deliveries. Most routes get drivers home daily or every other day, depending on the schedule.

• Pay: $1,400 weekly average, milage based


• Route: Dedicated lanes running TX, OK, NM, KS, MO, LA, AR, TN and MS


• Freight: Preloaded, drivers use pallet jack to move freight from the back of the trailer to the tail


• Schedule: Home daily or every other


• Equipment: Tandem-axle sleeper trucks with 53 foot trailers


• Valid class A CDL


• Must have 3 months of experience driving T/T in the past 12 months or as much time on the road for any period than off the road in the last 10 years


• Able to use a hand pallet jack and verify freight at each stop


• Ability to meet DOT and company hiring standards
