Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for a Texas-only regional account. Expect 100% Texas freight with mostly drop & hook and repeat customers, under dedicated planners. You’ll typically be on a 6-on/2-off cycle, with day and night shifts and early AM starts.

Weekly earnings range from $1,200 to $1,400, with a $1,000 guaranteed pay for the first 3 months after solo dispatch, plus performance bonuses and a $15 stop pay.

• 6+ months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Texas hours of service.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
• 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR and background check; crash-free driving record.
• Hair and urine drug testing.

What You'll Drive

• 100% Texas freight, no out-of-state runs
• 80% drop and hook freight
• Familiar routes, repeat customers, dedicated planners

What You'll Earn

• $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly, standard OTR mileage scale
• $1,000 guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after solo dispatch
• Performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

What Your Week Looks Like

• 6 days out, 2 days home, home once a week
• Day and night shifts, early AM driving
• Weekends off not guaranteed, some holidays required

What It Takes

• 6+ months verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Texas hours of service
• Valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, 21+
• High safety score, crash-free driving record
• Clean MVR and background check
• Hair and urine drug testing
