Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Laredo, TX is seeking drivers for Texas-only freight on a regional Texas-based fleet. Expect guaranteed weekly pay from $1,200 to $1,400 with a $1,000 guaranteed pay for the first 3 months, plus a performance bonus and $15 stop pay.

Home trips occur about once per week with 6-on/2-off schedules, day and night shifts, and holiday work possible. Freight is 100% Texas, with 80% drop-and-hook operations and dedicated planners, ensuring routes are familiar and repeat customers are

• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must run on Texas hours of service.
• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21+.

Responsibilities

• Operate within Texas on a 6 days on / 2 off schedule.
• Maintain a high safety score and crash-free record.
• Adhere to Texas hours of service and DOT rules.
• Support dedicated planners with familiar routes.

Never cross state lines. This Laredo-based regional fleet keeps you 100% inside Texas, with dedicated planners who know your routes and $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly pay.

Pay

• Standard OTR mileage pay scale
• $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly earnings
• $1,000 guaranteed pay for your first 3 months

Freight & Route

• 100% Texas freight, no out-of-state runs, ever
• 80% drop and hook freight

Schedule

• Work 6 days, off 2 days
• Home once a week
• Both day and night shifts, early AM driving required
• Weekends off not guaranteed, holiday work as needed

Qualifications

• Clean MVR and background check
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
