Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Local CDL A Driver to operate within a 60-mile radius, home daily, with 8–12 stops per day and 8–12 hour shifts. The role includes forklift operation and adherence to DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Stable consistent work history.
• No DUI in the last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Local driving within a 60 mile radius with home daily schedule.
• Operates a combination of driving and forklift on the job.
• Typical day includes 8–12 stops with an 8–12 hour shift.
• Schedules are Monday–Friday with start around 8:00 AM.

Local CDL A Position Available : We currently have a home daily day shift position available. This position is a combination of driving with some forklift operation. Local driving within a 60 mile radius, averaging 8-12 stops per day
