Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Local CDL A driver for home daily local routes within a 60-mile radius, averaging 8-12 stops per day. The role includes forklift operation and a Monday–Friday schedule, with typical start times around 8:00 AM.

New drivers start at $31.00/hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit and an overall strong compensation package including a 10k sign-on bonus, 401(k) with company match, full benefits, and paid holidays/time off.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Stable, consistent work history.
• No DUIs within the last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Local driving within a 60 mile radius with 8-12 stops per day.
