Cash-Wa Distributing is actively hiring CDL-A drivers in the Aberdeen, SD area for local, home-daily routes with a $12,000 sign-on bonus and strong pay potential.

As a CDL-A driver, you will deliver food, grocery and restaurant products on local routes, perform shuttle runs, and complete inspections and paperwork in compliance with DOT safety standards. This is a full-time role with full benefits and a fast hiring process.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A License.
• Clean driving record.
• Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Pass MVR/Clearinghouse, background & drug screen, and driving test.
• Availability for overtime, primarily during the week; weekends are very rare.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive a CDL-A tractor-trailer (local routes)
• Perform a variety of duties, such as delivery, shuttle runs, anddrop & hook
• Deliver food, grocery & restaurant products
• Perform shuttle runs and/orunload product (route assignments)
• Complete inspections & paperwork
• Follow DOT & safety standards

What You Need

• Valid CDL-A License
• Clean driving record
• Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, with or without assistance
• Pass MVR/Clearinghouse, background & drug screen, and driving test
• Availability for overtime, primarily during the week. Very rare to work any weekends throughout the year.

Physical

• Frequent stand/walk during delivery activities.
• Frequent sitting throughout work shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 65 lbs., rarely up to 100 lbs., 3-4 feet from pallet to hand truck to off load area.
• Frequent push/pulling frequently up to 175 lbs., and occasionally up to 200 lbs. using both hands/arms, to transport loaded hand truck up/down curbs and stairs.
• Frequent steering and maneuvering gear controls and clutch to safely drive vehicle.
• In truck cab, trailer, or customer location 80% of the time, exposure to outdoors during delivery 20% of the time.
• Hazards include: moving vehicles, equipment, slippery surfaces, noise, exhaust fumes and exposure to various weather conditions during delivery activities.
