Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver to serve local and over-the-road routes, ensuring timely, safe delivery of food products. You will interact with customers, perform safety checks, and complete required paperwork daily.

Role offers a $85,000+ annual average, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including Day 1 health coverage, stock purchase plan, 401K matching, education assistance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift/move freight up to 60–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks and DOT inspections.
• Drives and delivers customer orders per route schedule.
• Unloads products into customer storage areas.
• Verifies deliveries with customers and obtains signatures.
• Completes required paperwork and logs daily.
• Secures equipment and manages loads.
