Job summary

Performance Food Group (PFG) is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support its foodservice delivery operations. The role involves driving tractor-trailer or straight trucks, delivering to independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, and schools, with routes that may include overnight and OTR segments.

You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely, safe deliveries and excellent customer service. The position offers a base salary around $85,000+ annually with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 10–90 lb and use equipment to move freight.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Performs safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Delivers and unloads food and related products to customers.
• Verifies delivery with customers and collects signatures when required.
• Unloads, stocks, and secures freight at customer locations.
