Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Upstate South Carolina is seeking Class A drivers for a regional dry van fleet. Earn a starting rate of $0.55 per mile with increases to $0.65 per mile by experience.

Average weekly gross ranges from $1,200 to $1,400, plus stop pay and a $1,000 weekly solo guarantee for 3 months after solo dispatch. Training includes guaranteed weekly pay during orientation, hands-on ride-alongs with a trainer, and immediate pay once solo.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required, 21+ years old.
• Recent CDL school graduates with at least 120 accredited hours.
• Experienced drivers with 6 OTR months in the past year or 12 in the past 5 years.
• A clean record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years; no major preventable crash in 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI on record for 5–10 years.

The Pay Math

• Weekly Miles: Around 2,500
• Starting Rate: $0.55 per mile
• Rate Increases: +$0.01 per mile per additional year of experience, up to $0.65
• Average Weekly Gross: $1,200 to $1,400
• Stop Pay: $15
• Monthly Bonus: Performance based
• Solo Guarantee: $1,000 per week for 3 months after your first solo dispatch

Training Program

• Guaranteed Weekly Training Pay: Paid every week
• Hands On: Ride with an experienced trainer on live freight
• No Waiting: Full pay as soon as you go solo

Routes

• Up and down the eastern seaboard
• Loads do not go far west
• Dry van, drop and hook with some live stops
• Home every 2 weeks

Who Can Apply
