Job summary

McIntosh Box and Pallet Company is seeking a dependable CDL A Truck Driver for the Mineral, VA area. The 1st shift runs from 6am to 3:30pm with schedules varying based on deliveries.

You will deliver safely and build relationships with customers while upholding company standards. Requirements include a valid CDL, 2+ years tractor-trailer experience preferred, and a clean driving record. The role offers a benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver’s license required.
• 2+ years proven tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Background check and drug test are required.
• Physically and mentally fit; alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
• Complete Foley Application.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle.
• Drive trucks with a GVW over 26,000 lbs.
• Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs.
• Ensure trailer hitch is properly attached to the tractor unit.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and after each trip.
• Keep your vehicle clean at all times.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Obey all traffic laws and drive according to weather/road conditions.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
