Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver (LTL) to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck, delivering and picking up palletized freight and large shipments. The role requires pre-trip inspections, accurate paperwork, and adherence to DOT safety standards.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM start with 10–15 hours of overtime weekly; overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours. The wage ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class A with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-trip inspections and DOT requirements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and handle palletized freight.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver/pick up palletized freight.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and complete mileage and maintenance forms.
• Verify load documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect payments when necessary and return bill of ladings.
• Maintain certifications per DOT and company safety policies.
